Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This policy describes the JavileVibe iOS app and these legal pages. “We” refers to the provider of JavileVibe identified on its App Store listing. Your choices and controls are described below.

2. Information kept on your device

• Local profile: your chosen nickname, avatar, local profile identifier and sign-in state. Continuing locally does not create a cloud account or require an email address or password.
• Library content: book titles, authors, cover images, collections, custom shelves, shelf ordering, pinned books, reread rounds, favorites, reading positions, session minutes, reading dates, notes, tags and drafts.
• Preferences: tracking mode, daily, weekly and annual goals, reminder days and times, and related app settings.
• Leaves and purchases: local balance, spending history, product identifiers, verified transaction identifiers and pending purchase state needed to deliver purchased Leaves and prevent duplicate credit.
• Generated files: notebooks and other exports you choose to create.

3. Photos, camera and cover recognition

You may take a photo or select an image for a book cover or avatar. Camera access is requested when needed. The system photo picker lets you choose the images you want to share with the app. Selected images may be cropped and stored locally. Cover text recognition uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework; this feature does not send your cover to a remote AI service.

4. Notifications and reading sessions

Reading reminders use local notifications with your permission. You can change reminders in the app or disable notifications in iOS Settings. A pending focus session is stored locally so you can resume it after leaving the screen or reopening the app. A running timer continues while the app is in the background or the device is locked, up to 24 hours per session. Time is added to statistics only after you review and save the reading entry. You can pause or discard the pending session.

5. Apple purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and your Apple Account. Apple handles payment credentials; JavileVibe does not receive your full payment-card information. The app verifies transactions and keeps the local information required to credit Leaves. Apple processes purchase information under its own privacy policy and terms.

6. Sharing you initiate

If you export, copy or share a note or notebook, the destination app or service receives the content you select. Copied content is placed on the system clipboard. Files saved outside JavileVibe remain under your control and may be subject to another provider’s policies. Opening a policy link launches your external browser, where the hosting provider may receive standard web-request information such as your IP address and browser details.

7. Analytics, advertising and website hosting

The current app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, does not sell your library content, and does not use your reading history for cross-app advertising. These static legal pages do not use tracking scripts, cookies or third-party fonts. The service used to host them may retain ordinary access or security logs according to its configuration and privacy practices. Apple may process app diagnostics according to your device settings.

8. Retention, deletion and device security

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Logging out keeps your local library. In My Space, Delete Account removes the app’s personal library, profile, drafts, preferences, local Leaves balance, ledger and saved notebooks. An in-progress purchase may need to finish before deletion is available. This does not delete Apple’s transaction records, request an Apple refund, or remove files you previously shared or exported.

App-managed library files are configured to be excluded from device backup. There is no app-provided cloud backup or cross-device recovery. Keep separate copies of exports you want to retain. Local file protection relies on iOS; no storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit or delete books and notes, change your local profile, revoke camera or notification permissions in iOS Settings, and delete your local account in the app. Because your library is stored locally, we cannot remotely retrieve, correct or erase its contents for you. 10. Children and changes

JavileVibe is not designed to collect personal information from children through an online account. Follow the app’s App Store age rating and your local requirements. We may update this policy when app behavior changes; the effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be reflected in the app or the published policy.
